Brought to you by a stroke of wistful musing (and a heaping dose of boredom) I have complied a list. What is this list you might say? Well, it is a list of what I believe to be THE most powerful, or more specifically, most OVER POWERED characters of all the fandoms I know, or can think of for the time being. Though for such a list to be created there are some definite things that need to be set straight for it to even be possible. For one thing, you will always have those fandoms that have a dozen or so nearly equally op characters that all fight each other head on. That being said ,for this list:
Rule #1 One character per fandom. Which may seem unfair, seeing as some fandom might have a lot of varaity or powers, but just think about it. One of those characters has to be more powerful than the rest, right? Then that character will represent that fandom on the list.We can't have half a dozen characters from taking up the first ten slots on the list. A good example would be Fate/Stay Night or Wheel of Time. Where everyone is insane. Though if you have two fandoms that have linked universes but very different characters, that is acceptable.
Rule #2, NO GODS or anything of equivilance. No "Demon Lords" that fight gods, no omnipitant beings that can delete the world with a thought. Nothing of the likes. People who are technically immortal might be one thing, but there is a limit. People that were excluded from the list for this reason, as an example, would be Q from Star Trek, Apocalypse from Xmen, and the Emperor from Warhammer. They're just too much. Basically if the characters could beat someone from DBZ they're too much. Oh, and on that note-
Rule #3 DBZ. NO.
Rule # 4 isn't really a rule per say. It's more of a guideline. The characters have to either be humanoid or have a humanoid form. And sentient. This rule excluded things like Sin from Final Fantasy X and other boss worthy beasties.
I'm interested in hearing what you think of the list, any arguments against my placing or perhaps a few characters to add to the list?
You know what's worse then having a bunch of people you care about talking bad about you behind your back and to your face?
When you start to realize that everything they're saying about you is true.
At least some people are having a good day. I'm really glad to hear that.
TRANSFAVORITES MEME
-
2.) Which side [Autobots l Decepticons] do you favor/prefer?
3.) Who is your favorite Autobot?
4.) Who is your favorite Decepticon?
5.) If any, who is your favorite human?
6.) What Transformers episode (from any/all universes) is your favorite?
Episode 26: Black Friday. Because Grimlock follow you. But he do it ALLOOOOONE!
7.) From your favorite universe, what's one thing you would change, if you could?
8.) Do you have a favorite pairing?
Black Arachnia X Dino Bots. Yes all of them.
9.) If you were a Transformer...
· Which side would you be on?
Neutral aligned hopefully but Autobot origins. Would try to work relief efforts for both sides but would have empathy for Optimus's crew or generally good-willing bots like them.
· What would you Transform into? Why?
A Cybertronian ship, medium size. If lets say, Jetstorm and Jetfire are considered a light ship and Omega Supreme is a heavy. I wouldn't be fast and I wouldn't be a tanker but I'd be a happy medium. Instead of fast pace interceptors like the Jet twins or Starscream and the seekers that contantly move forward, I would also have the ability to hover allowing me to hold position or fire while stationary as well as while strafing. And inspired by this picture, I would have an observation mini-bot. My alt form, while geared for light combat, would be flexible in it's uses.
· What would your Designation (name) be? Why?
Epsilon.
· What would be your expertise?
Scouting. Flexible Jack-of-all-trades role fuffilment.
· Who would you get along with? Why?
Hrm. I can only really go along with TFA. Jet-twins, fellow air-bots. Prowl, fellow tactical soldier and he's just wicked awesome. And because of his neutral leanings I'd hope that he could get on the good side of a couple decepticons. Well... maybe not good. But... just to the point where they try to kill eachother on sight just a little less. So, Cyclonus, his code of honor and they'd see eachother as worthy adversaries. And any other Decepticon that may not kill him on sight.
· Who would you NOT get along with? Why?
Lugnut. For his blind, unquestioning loyalty without regards to reason. Sentinel Prime and any other bots like him as well as the high command for their hypocritical morality.
10.) If you were transported into your favorite TF-universe, who would you want to partner-up with and why?
11.) Who is the better leader, Optimus or Megatron (or neither)?
12.) Is there such a thing as gender and/or orientation for Cybertronians? Elaborate...
14.) What is your opinion on Femmes?
And I don't even want to get into fandom's... "interpritation" of Femmes. Much like any other fandom it's basically 'Slash slash slash. Femmes? Get dem' bitchez out da' way, dey is c**k-blockin' my robot dudez with things like... canon relationships and... statistically correct orientation ratios and..................... just......... HETEROSEXUALITYFAIL' It's sad when people are sexist against their own gender.
15.) Which Transformers-comic series is the best (Marvel, Dreamweaver, etc...)?
16.) Besides Marvel (it's already been done), what crossover with Transformers would you like to see?
Transformers x Star Wars. IT COULD HAPPEN!!! MORE THAN YOU KNOOOOOOW! Just look at the time frames. Nuff said.

Since your accomplishments are seldom noticed, and you are rarely thought of, you are expendable. That doesn't mean your job isn't important but if you were in Star Trek you would be killed off in the first episode you appeared in. ![]() |
( Copious amounts of fun to be had. )
The two series that I put off till now were:
Elfen Lied-A 13 episode anime series about a young girl with horns who posses a special power called vectors, invisible hands that stretch out from her back that she can move at the speed of light, so it said and use it as a very effective weapon. The anime immediately struck me nausiating and disturbing, not just in the violence it shot at me in droves, but the wonton way it seemed to go about it. And it had gratuitious amounts of gore and an unusual amount open nudity seemed severly over the top which, alongside the fact that the first episode didn't hook me at all with any discernable plot made me want to drop the series there and wash my hands of it. However, at my friend's behest I continued to watch the series because he desperately tried to convince me that it got better. And I know forming a conclusive opinion about something after only watching the first episode seems pretty hasty, but most people with less of a stomach then me wouldn't even get past the opening scene.
And I am pleased to admit that it did, in fact, get better. So much better. I'm not a gore-fiend so that was no way to grab my attention. But once I buckled down and watched a few episodes I was pulled in. The plot was driving and emotional and had wonderful characters, despite me being weirded out by some cousin crushing. =P As I got further and further into the series I found myself getting ever more worked up about what was happening. I won't say anymore than that because what really hit me was not knowing what was going to happen next. So I recommend picking this series up, or finding it online and watching it for free.
Now to be honest I did have some critiques, small to me but they could really destroy the series for you if you can't look past them. And you might be thinking the gore. Yes, this series is not for the faint of heart. It has more gore then even Hellsing, not to meniton not all the people who die are Nazi vampires or their supporters. The death toll isn't generally comprised of people who had it coming. Which was hard for me. But you come to find that the violence actually becomes a theme to describe the terribly violent emotional theme portrayed in this series.
Second, to a lesser effect and not nearly as noticable or damaging, I found that most of the people in the series tended to follow a set personality type. Like, it seemed the girls generally were pretty Mary Sue. Except when they were psychotic. And the men were either drunkards, or complete innocents. It's not that straight forward or as bad as I make it sound, but some characters just didn't have depth which was a stark contrast with others who were incredibly deep.
All in all, an amazing series. If you can handle it. It's the only show I've ever seen that has full nudity and someone being torn in half in the first 5 minutes.
And the second series I finally got to sit and finish was The Watchmen comic. I was gripped from the beginning of this graphic novel, immediately intrigued by a very unique 'Hero' who caught my attention because of his perspectives of the world and justice. Not to meniton his epic way of dress. The series takes place in the near future and is, to put it simply because I don't want to give much away, generally about Hero's as they would exist in our world. Not the flashy, stylish and sexy heros from Marvel or the Idealistic and magestic ones from DC. I'm talking actual people you could know, putting on a mask and walking out onto the street to stop a mugging. It's about their struggles, their unique perspectives, and how their life as a superhero impacts their life as a normal person. Unfortuantely they live in a time where vigilanties are outlawed and because of their desire to help people they have become persecuted. I may have said to much, but I implore you. Read this comic. The movie is coming up soon. Read it. Du it nao!
So, to people who have already seen or read these series, I hope I did a good job giving the feeling of the stories, at least from my perspective, and to those who have not, I hope I have convinced you to look them up, or at least built your interest up a bit.
After those two series I feel like I just took an emotional gut shot. Let me tell you, ending? Epic.
